The building’s construction employed innovative methods like Off-Site Construction. This approach involved prefabricating exterior wall units complete with windows, cladding, and insulation. This minimized on-site disruption, a crucial factor considering the building’s location on an active campus. The Engineering Building also boasts an IDEA FACTORY, a 1,500+ square meter space equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, and CNC machines. This creative hub encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, fostering innovation and the development of new ideas.
