The Embassy of the Republic of Singapore finally settled into this location on Voßstraße on September 15, 2011. Before that it was located in Friedrichstraße.
The building itself is a modern marvel. Braun & Schlockermann and Partner designed it. The design features a striking five-story atrium. Natural light floods the interior. Jura limestone cladding adorns the facade. This stone comes from the Dietfurt quarries. This gives the building a distinctive and elegant look.
