For centuries, this area was under the rule of various powers, from the Electorate of Trier to the Kingdom of Prussia. Today, Ellenz-Poltersdorf is part of Rhineland-Palatinate. While strolling through Ellenz-Poltersdorf, you can enjoy the charming sights. Look out for the “Ellenzer Goldbäumchen”, a well-known vineyard.
