El Cajon Alliance Church believes in one God. This God is infinitely perfect. He exists eternally in three persons. These persons are Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is both true God and true man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit. He was born of the virgin Mary.
Consider Jesus’ sacrifice. He died upon the cross. He was the Just for the unjust. It was a substitutionary sacrifice. All who believe in Him are justified. They are justified on the ground of His shed blood. He arose from the dead. This was according to the Scriptures. He is now at the right hand of Majesty on high. He is our great High Priest. He will come again. He will establish His kingdom. It will be a kingdom of righteousness and peace.
The Holy Spirit is a divine person. He was sent to indwell. He guides the believer. He teaches and empowers the believer. The Holy Spirit convinces the world of sin. He also convinces of righteousness and judgment.
The Old and New Testaments are inerrant. They were verbally inspired by God. They are a complete revelation of His will. This is for the salvation of men. They constitute the divine and only rule. This rule is for Christian faith and practice.
Man was originally created in God’s image. He fell through disobedience. He incurred physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature. They are separated from God. They can be saved through Jesus Christ. The unrepentant will experience conscious torment forever. The believer will experience everlasting joy and bliss.
Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ. It is for all men. Those who believe in Him are born again. They are born of the Holy Spirit. They receive eternal life. They become children of God.
Each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit. They should be sanctified wholly. This means being separated from sin. It also means being dedicated to God’s will. This provides power for holy living. It gives effective service. This experience happens after conversion.
Provision is made for healing. It is in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. This is for the healing of the mortal body. Prayer for the sick is taught in the Scriptures. Anointing with oil is also taught. These are privileges for the Church today.
The Church consists of believers in Jesus Christ. They are redeemed through His blood. They are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body. The Church has been commissioned. It goes into all the world as a witness. It preaches the gospel to all nations. The local church is a body of believers. They join for worship. They seek edification through God’s Word. They unite for prayer and fellowship. They proclaim the gospel. They observe Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
There shall be a bodily resurrection. It is for the just and the unjust. The former will resurrect unto life. The latter will resurrect unto judgment. The second coming of Jesus Christ is imminent. It will be personal and visible. This is the believer’s blessed hope. It is an incentive to holy living. It encourages faithful service. The El Cajon Alliance Church bases its beliefs on the Bible. It is the infallible Word of God.
