In August 2020, during the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Centre donated a substantial amount to the Volta Regional Hospital in Ho. This wasn’t just a small contribution. El-Bethel Prayer Centre donated items totaling a remarkable GH₵14,000. This included practical necessities like face masks, bleach, antibacterial soap, and tissue paper. But the centerpiece of their donation was a large, much-needed bus stop/shed placed right in front of the hospital. This provided shelter and comfort to those waiting, a tangible symbol of the Centre’s care. Apostle Moses K. Ahiakor, the Ho Area Head, presented the items, emphasizing the church’s commitment to supporting the hospital’s fight against the pandemic. The Director of Nursing, Innocentia Gborgloror, accepted the gifts with heartfelt gratitude. This act of generosity wasn’t just about material goods.
