Outside a Book of Remembrance stands. Twenty bronze plates bear the names of the deceased. These names are arranged chronologically according to the year of death. This allows for focused reflection and remembrance. The Book of Remembrance was added in 2014. An information center opened in 2018. This center provides valuable context about the Bundeswehr. It explains the memorial’s architecture symbolism and significance.
