Initially, Eglise Carmel saint Joseph only welcomed girls. Imagine the quiet murmur of young women filling these spaces. Then, in 1979, a shift occurred. The Sisters of the Saints Hearts took over its management. It became a co-educational institution. At that time, the school had nearly 750 students, mostly of Moroccan nationality.
Today, Eglise Carmel saint Joseph stands as a private, co-educational establishment. It is an integral part of Catholic education in Morocco. The school now has around 960 students. Most are Moroccan. Their educational journey spans from kindergarten at age four to the 6AP level at age twelve.
The motto here is powerful. “Promote every man and the whole man.” The goal is to shape individuals who are free, responsible, and capable. Eglise Carmel saint Joseph strives to be a place of well-being and growth for every child.
