“Founded in 1937 by the Carmelite Sisters” echoes through the halls of Eglise Carmel saint Joseph. This isn’t just a church. It’s a place with a unique history.

Initially, Eglise Carmel saint Joseph only welcomed girls. Imagine the quiet murmur of young women filling these spaces. Then, in 1979, a shift occurred. The Sisters of the Saints Hearts took over its management. It became a co-educational institution. At that time, the school had nearly 750 students, mostly of Moroccan nationality.

Today, Eglise Carmel saint Joseph stands as a private, co-educational establishment. It is an integral part of Catholic education in Morocco. The school now has around 960 students. Most are Moroccan. Their educational journey spans from kindergarten at age four to the 6AP level at age twelve.

The motto here is powerful. “Promote every man and the whole man.” The goal is to shape individuals who are free, responsible, and capable. Eglise Carmel saint Joseph strives to be a place of well-being and growth for every child.

The teaching staff is highly professional. They foster an atmosphere of mutual respect. Education is bilingual, sometimes even trilingual. It aligns with the Moroccan Ministry of National Education’s curriculum. There’s a strong emphasis on general knowledge. This helps children thrive in today’s world.

Eglise Carmel saint Joseph is more than just a school. It is a place of community. It’s a place of serenity. It’s a place where students receive a high level of general culture. This allows them to open up to a new world.

Leading this institution are dedicated individuals. Sr Ramona Geagea is the school’s Director. Daiaa Abou Ibadallah serves as the Assistant Director. Khadija Anouar is responsible for preschool. Rabii Denyaji oversees TICE. Sr Mountaha Akiki is the Bursar. Hajar Azdour works as the accountant. Sanae Tazi is the receptionist. Kenza Mesmoudi is the cashier. Khadija Alaoui is the nurse.

These teams of teachers, supervisors, and administrative staff are all passionate professionals. The development and success of their students are at the heart of their ambitions at Eglise Carmel saint Joseph.
