The Église Baptiste Évangélique d’Ahuntsic holds a special place in Quebec’s religious landscape. It’s a member of the AEBEQ the Association of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Quebec. It also belongs to the Fellowship a national association of over 500 churches across Canada. The church’s multi-ethnic and diverse congregation reflects the rich tapestry of Montreal. Their current building no longer meets their needs. They are actively seeking expansion.

Interestingly the AEBEQ and SEMBEQ the theological seminary started in the basement of the church’s first building. The Église Baptiste Évangélique d’Ahuntsic’s history is marked by not just growth but also giving back. It has birthed three daughter churches in Montreal-Nord Repentigny and Pierrefonds. These churches continue its legacy of spreading the good news.
