The year is 1986. A group of university professors had a vision. They saw a need. A need for highly skilled engineers. They founded the École Marocaine des Sciences de l’Ingénieur EMSI. Right here in Casablanca.

This wasn’t just another school. EMSI was born from a desire to meet the demands of Morocco’s growing professional sector. It aimed to produce versatile high-level managers. Specialists in computer engineering and industrial computing. These were fields exploding in importance.

The Ministry of Higher Education approved EMSI in 1986. Since then over 2400 graduates have joined the workforce. Many work both nationally and internationally. These graduates are highly sought after. Their training is thorough. They’re ready to contribute quickly. Their work shows the quality of EMSI’s education.

But EMSI didn’t just appear overnight. The founders recognized the link between industrial growth and technology. To stay current they adapted their programs continuously. EMSI’s curriculum always reflects technological changes.

The choice of specializations was deliberate. Knowledge of computing electronics automation and telecommunications are essential. These fields are key to many important modern jobs. These skills are in constant demand. Employers need employees who can handle constant technological advancements.

EMSI’s first campus opened in Casablanca. It soon expanded. By 1996 a campus opened in Rabat. Marrakech followed in 2004. A new Casablanca campus in Sidi Maarouf was planned for 2009.

EMSI’s success lies in more than just its adaptable curriculum. Its focus is interactive learning. Students don’t just learn theory. They develop initiative. They become problem-solvers. They are trained to be innovative engineers. The program is five years post-baccalaureate. It includes a preparatory year. Then students choose from several specializations.

EMSI’s success is also visible in the employability of its graduates. The vast majority quickly find key positions. The institution’s close relationship with industry plays a large role. Students gain valuable practical experience through internships. Employers assess the graduates’ skill level firsthand. The network of alumni also helps. EMSI has built an excellent reputation. Its graduates are known for their quality and their readiness to work.
