A humble beginning. That’s what Echoes of Faith Church represents. Standing before this unassuming building you wouldn’t guess its rich history. Echoes of Faith Church didn’t start as a grand cathedral. It began in May 1971 as a drug outreach center called God’s Powerhouse. Rev Bertie McCoy had a vision. He wanted to reach those lost in the shadows.

This wasn’t some lavish enterprise. It was a humble start. A testament to faith’s power to transform lives. From those humble beginnings it grew. In 1973 it found a home renting the sheriff’s posse building at 1401 E Washington Avenue. This wasn’t just a building. This was a symbol of community’s willingness to support the cause.

The church wasn’t content to remain static. They purchased a four-acre lot in 1975. This was a significant expansion. It represented the church’s growing influence. It demonstrated a long-term commitment to serving Las Vegas.

Leadership changed over the years. Pastor Bertie McCoy retired in 2001. Rev James Matza took the reins for five years. Then in 2006 Rev Godwin Azeke became the current pastor. Each pastor built upon the foundation laid by their predecessors. They continued the legacy of service and outreach.

Echoes of Faith Church isn’t just about Sunday sermons. It’s a vibrant community. It’s a place of transformation and growth. The church has equipped believers to become pastors ministers evangelists missionaries and leaders. Their influence stretches across Las Vegas the United States and the world.

Today Echoes of Faith stands debt-free. A symbol of resilience faith and community. It’s a testament to the enduring power of hope and service. It’s more than just a church. It’s a beacon of faith in the heart of Las Vegas. A place where lives are changed. Where hope is found. And where the echoes of faith continue to resonate.
