For fourteen years The Echo hosted Funky Sole. This was an all-vinyl 1960s funk-and-soul dance party. Imagine the energy.

Air Traffic has performed here. So have The Airborne Toxic Event and An Albatross. Autolux and Bad Religion have rocked The Echo. Even The Rolling Stones played here.
LCD Soundsystem has filled The Echo with their unique sound. You could have seen Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins. Bands like Pixies and Rancid have also performed.
In 2009, The Echo appeared in the film Crossing Over. Harrison Ford and Sean Penn were filmed right here.
In 2019, Spaceland Productions sold The Echo to Live Nation Entertainment. Spaceland Productions also owned The Echoplex and other venues.
