East Denver Church of God welcomes people from all walks of life. This multicultural congregation thrives in the Central Park and Park Hill neighborhood. You will find East Denver Church of God a quarter mile west of Central Park. It sits proudly on the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Monaco Parkway.
The East Denver Church of God is small. It has about 20 active members. But it is a church with a loving fellowship. Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m., the church doors open for Sunday service. On Wednesday nights, you can join them for Bible study via Zoom.
The mission of East Denver Church of God is clear. It aims “To equip the Body of Christ, edify one another and demonstrating unity in Christ”. The vision is equally inspiring. It envisions “God’s people preparing for works of Service”.
Leading this congregation is Senior Pastor Bobby. He has served the Lord for over 20 years. Bobby graduated from Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma in 1990. He is an ordained minister. Born in Taichung, Taiwan, to a military family, Bobby’s journey has been diverse. He has spent two decades in urban youth ministry. He even coached boys varsity basketball at the high school level for many years.
Beyond the church, Bobby enjoys mission work around the world. He participates in various sporting activities, including tennis, golf, and basketball. As an entrepreneur, he has created Affordable Computer Solutions, Halo Distribution LLC, and Godside Ministries. These ventures allow him a flexible schedule for ministry.
The East Denver Church of God also has a vibrant women’s ministry. It is known as Women at the Well. These women love gathering and sharing their love for Jesus Christ. They dream of their future ministry together. They belong to the Christian Women Connection, previously known as Women of the Church of God.
East Denver Church of God’s youth program focuses on relationships with God and each other. The Bible forms the base of all truth. Young people have opportunities to make a difference in their community, city, state, and around the world.
