Dedicated to the memory of those who walked this Earth, Earthwalk Park in Burbank holds a special place. This plaque, right here at Earthwalk Park, commemorates more than just a park. It represents a community’s effort to create a space for joy and remembrance. Earthwalk Park wasn’t always the vibrant playground you see today. Back in 2015, the park underwent a significant transformation. The old playground equipment was replaced with new, ADA-compliant structures. A rubberized surface was installed, along with a shade structure, landscaping, and drought-tolerant plants. This $250,000 project, completed in 2016, breathed new life into Earthwalk Park. The plaque we stand before serves as a reminder of this revitalization. It acknowledges the dedication and investment made to create a safe and enjoyable space for children and families. Earthwalk Park, located on Grismer Avenue, offers children’s play areas, providing a place where kids can climb, swing, and explore. As you explore Earthwalk Park, take a moment to appreciate the plaque and the story it tells. It’s a testament to the power of community and the importance of creating spaces where memories are made.
