Established in 1992, Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls (DPCG) stands as a testament to vision and progress. It was the first pharmacy college in the Gulf dedicated solely to women. This pioneering institution was the brainchild of Hajj Saeed Bin Ahmed Al Lootah. He envisioned a place where young women could excel in pharmaceutical sciences. Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls started under the umbrella of the Dubai Institute of Environmental Research. The first class was small, just 27 students, a mix of young men and women. By 1998, it had earned accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This allowed the college to award Bachelor of Pharmacy degrees. In 2004, Dubai Pharmacy College for Girls received the Dubai Quality Appreciation Award. It was recognized as the best teaching institute in the UAE.
