The Dreifaltigkeits-Friedhof is also known as Dreifaltigkeitskirchhof IV. It offers a space for reflection. This cemetery spans 17000 square meters. That’s roughly four acres.
In 1899 the Dreifaltigkeits community acquired this land. It was along what was then known as Street 16. By 1903, the Dreifaltigkeits-Friedhof opened. The first burial took place here.
Note the charming chapel. Architect Otto Kuhlmann erected it in 1902. It is a focal point. The Dreifaltigkeits-Friedhof also features a separate bell tower.
The cemetery has a stretched form. The central path leads to the chapel. Grave fields extend to the right and left.
