This particular Dream Machine, titled “Dandara,” carries a poignant story. It’s named after Dandara dos Santos, a transgender woman tragically murdered in Brazil in 2017. The Dream Machine ІІ is a powerful symbol of hope and resilience, unveiled in Tribeca Park in November 2019. Its creator, Rubem Robierb, envisioned this interactive sculpture as a place where people could connect with their dreams.
