Established in 1992, Dongguan University of Technology (DGUT) stands as a testament to the city’s commitment to progress. DGUT also holds the distinction of being a model university of novel high-level science and engineering, jointly supported by Guangdong Province and Dongguan City. The university has the honor of counting Nobel Laureate in Physics, Dr. Chenning Yang, as its Honorary President. DGUT began its journey in 1990 and opened its doors to students in 1992. It quickly gained recognition, becoming one of the initial institutions selected for the national “Outstanding Engineers Cultivation Project.” Dongguan University of Technology boasts two campuses: Songshan Lake and Guancheng. These campuses span a combined area of 351 acres, providing ample space for learning and innovation. The university offers a diverse range of programs.
