Ready to be amazed? Dolby Live at Park MGM redefines entertainment right here on the Las Vegas Strip. It is an intimate space. Artists create unique performances. Guests feel up close and personal.

Dolby Live opened in December 2016. It was originally named Park Theater. The theater’s construction cost about 90 million dollars. In 2023 dollars, that’s about 116 million.

MGM Resorts International and AEG spearheaded its construction. It sits on the site of the former Lance Burton Theatre. Before settling on Park Theater, it was known as MGM Resorts Theater. It was also known as MCR Concert Hall.

Dolby Live has a seating capacity of 6400. For residency shows, the capacity is 5200. This makes it the second-largest theater on the Strip.

The venue spans 150000 square feet. Its stage is 135 feet wide and 40 feet deep. The proscenium arch measures 7500 square feet. The back row is only 145 feet from the stage. An 80-foot by 40-foot 4K-LED screen enhances the experience.

In October 2021, the theater was renamed Dolby Live. This was part of a naming rights agreement with Dolby. The sound system was upgraded to Dolby Atmos. Dolby Live became the first performance venue with this technology.

Dolby Live boasts a fully integrated Dolby Atmos audio system. It features 402 speakers. The audio is uniquely designed. It ensures an immersive experience throughout the venue. This is true for all types of live entertainment.

Artists and their teams have maximum flexibility. New Dolby Atmos mixing tools enable their creative vision. The stage is one of the widest in the world at 140 feet. A 240-foot wide projection surface uses projection mapping. Nine HD and 4K projectors add to the visual experience.

Dolby Live offers versatile seating configurations. It can host concerts and award shows. It can also host combat sports and conventions. Even basketball games can be held here.

Premium seating is available. Bottle service elevates the experience. There are also seven bars and terraces. They offer views of the Las Vegas Strip and The Park.

Notable headliners have graced the stage. Bruno Mars has performed here since 2016. Lady Gaga had a residency from 2018 to 2024. Aerosmith rocked the house from 2019 to 2022. Usher had a Vegas residency in 2022. Maroon 5 has had a residency since 2023.

Stevie Nicks played here on December 17, 2016. This marked the theater’s opening.

Remember the farthest seat is only 145 feet from the stage. This ensures an intimate experience for every guest. At Dolby Live you are never far from the magic.
