He was the original landowner in 1837 and the founding president of the Detroit Anti-Slavery Society. The neighborhood’s name reflects the beautiful gardens its residents cultivated. Our church mirrors this spirit. We are in the heart of this community. We are affectionately known as “Conant”.
The Detroit Conant Gardens Seventh-Day Adventist Church is more than a building. It’s a multicultural and multiethnic gathering place. Members come from all over the world. We boast over 40 ministries. These ministries offer avenues for growth for every member of your family. Our weekly Sabbath School begins at 10:00 a m. The midday worship service follows at 11:15 a m.
