Then in 1972 DIPSAR transformed. It became the College of Pharmacy. It moved to the Pusa Institute campus. Finally in 1979 it found its permanent home in Pushp Vihar. It became the Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research in 2004. The University of Delhi affiliated it.
DIPSAR wasn’t always part of a university. In 2008 the Delhi government established the Delhi Pharmaceutical Science and Research University DPSRU. DIPSAR became a constituent college of DPSRU.
