How about a journey that began in Nha Trang? We are standing before \u0110an vi\u1ec7n C\u00e1t Minh Ph\u00fa C\u01b0\u1eddng. This place carries a story of faith and devotion. It started as an extension of the \u0110an vi\u1ec7n C\u00e1t Minh Nha Trang in 1960.
In 2010, eight nuns embarked on a journey. They left Nha Trang. They arrived in Giáo xứ Bến Sắn within the Giáo phận Phú Cường. This marked the humble beginnings of \u0110an vi\u1ec7n C\u00e1t Minh Ph\u00fa C\u01b0\u1eddng.
The Vatican recognized this new establishment. In October 2010, it granted permission for the Nha Trang monastery to establish a new house. This house was in the Giáo phận Phú Cường. While awaiting official establishment under Canon Law, the \u0110an vi\u1ec7n C\u00e1t Minh Ph\u00fa C\u01b0\u1eddng grew steadily. It constructed facilities. It welcomed new members from Nha Trang. It also began training new aspirants.
A significant milestone occurred on February 11, 2015. It was the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. The first stone was laid. This event was for the construction of the chapel. Other essential facilities of the \u0110an vi\u1ec7n were also initiated. Two bishops presided over this ceremony. They were Giuse Nguyễn Tấn Tước and Phêrô Trần Đình Tứ.
By August 22, 2016, the Feast of the Queenship of Mary, the chapel and grounds were completed. This completion adhered to the regulations of the Order. Bishop Giuse Nguyễn Tấn Tước consecrated the chapel. Many priests and members of the community attended.
Divine Providence has watched over \u0110an vi\u1ec7n C\u00e1t Minh Ph\u00fa C\u01b0\u1eddng. This care came through individuals supporting the monastery over the years. The nuns engage in various works. They bake hosts. They tend to the garden. They sew and embroider.
On September 8, 2017, a decree officially recognized \u0110an vi\u1ec7n C\u00e1t Minh Th\u00e1nh Giuse Ph\u00fa C\u01b0\u1eddng. This was according to Canon Law. As of now, the \u0110an vi\u1ec7n consists of professed nuns, temporarily professed nuns, novices, and aspirants.
\u0110an vi\u1ec7n C\u00e1t Minh Ph\u00fa C\u01b0\u1eddng also serves as a pilgrimage destination. Pilgrims are welcome from 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily. Holy Masses are celebrated in the morning and evening. The nuns also welcome pilgrims to join them in prayer.
