Its origin goes back even further, to 1828, when Alexander Hodge, a member of Stephen F. Austin’s “Old Three Hundred” settlers, first claimed the land. In 1991, Cullinan Park opened to the public. Today, Cullinan Park is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, providing a sanctuary for nature lovers and a vibrant spot for community events. It’s home to two beautiful lakes, White Lake and Pumpkin Lake, and offers miles of trails for hiking and biking.
