Have you ever heard of a church that predates its own neighborhood? Crown of Life Lutheran Church in San Antonio has a fascinating history. The Church has been a part of the Stone Oak area since its early days when the landscape was primarily ranch land.
Crown of Life Lutheran Church was established as a sanctuary, a place where people could find solace and connect with God. It’s a place where the community can come together to worship and learn. The church holds two Sunday services, one at 8:00 AM which is also livestreamed and another at 10:45 AM. They use the Lutheran Service Book (2006, CPH) for their hymnal, liturgy, and pericope.
The church is known for its active community and commitment to its faith. They offer a range of activities throughout the week, including Bible studies for both men and women and Sunday School for children. The church also hosts a monthly Men’s breakfast Bible study on the first Saturday of each month.
Crown of Life Lutheran Church is more than just a place of worship. It’s a testament to the enduring power of faith and the importance of community in our lives.
