The church firmly believes in unity around essential Christian beliefs. They cite Ephesians 4:4-6, which speaks of “one body and one spirit…one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all.” At the Crossover Chapel International, they acknowledge differences in non-essential beliefs. They encourage acceptance and understanding, referencing Romans 14, which urges against judgment on disputable matters. Crossover Chapel International holds core tenets central to its faith. They believe in the Trinity: God as the eternal creator existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They consider the Bible the inspired word of God. Jesus Christ is recognized as the Son of God, who lived a sinless life, died for humanity’s sins, and rose again, promising to return. Humanity is seen as created in God’s image but affected by sin. The Crossover Chapel International teaches of eternity, with heaven as eternal union with God and hell as eternal separation.
