“Lean in!” You’ve maybe heard these words before. This is the call of the Crosby Church of Christ, a place of faith and community in the heart of Houston. Standing here in front of the church, its warm brick facade bathed in the Texas sun, you can almost feel the energy that flows through it. This story, woven with faith and determination, began decades ago, fueled by the passion of individuals dedicated to a message of hope and transformation. The story begins with, as the church’s website states, “one God who is revealed to humankind as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” This belief is the cornerstone of the Crosby Church, a belief shared by many in this community. The church became a home for those seeking a strong spiritual foundation, a space where individuals from diverse backgrounds could gather and embrace the same unifying principle.
