Nine worshippers and a dream. That’s how the story of Creekside Christian Fellowship began. Here at 16628 Highway 36, in the heart of Needville, Creekside Christian Fellowship isn’t just a building. It’s a testament to the power of faith and community. In 2003, a small Bible study group, just nine adults and two children, started meeting. They gathered at the Rose Emporium, right next door to where Creekside stands today. Imagine those early meetings, the shared hopes and dreams for a place where people could connect with God and each other.

Creekside Christian Fellowship held its soft launch in the spring of 2004. The grand opening followed in August of the same year. This is the date the church celebrates as its official birthday. The first building was ready by Easter of 2006. Today, it serves as the children’s facility. The current worship facility was built between August 2008 and May 2009. Creekside has grown significantly since those early days. From nine worshippers to nearly 900, with an average of 460 people attending weekly services. That’s double the national average for church attendance.

Creekside Christian Fellowship is more than just a Sunday service. It’s a place of community, where people support one another through life’s joys and challenges. In 2017, during Hurricane Harvey, Creekside opened its doors as a relief center. Countless families found shelter and support within these walls. Volunteers dedicated countless hours to help those affected by the disaster. Creekside continues to upgrade its facilities to be ready to help the community during future crises.

Creekside Christian Fellowship is a place where faith, community, and service come together. It’s a place where people find comfort, support, and a sense of belonging. The church plans to expand further, with a family recreation center, a new worship center, an agriculture center, sports fields, and even a lodge-style facility to support single mothers. Creekside Christian Fellowship isn’t just building structures. It’s building a stronger community, one act of faith and service at a time.
