The change happened gradually. After a decline in musical instrument demand Muzdetal became a business center. Then the 2007-2008 financial crisis hit. Businesses moved out. Seizing the opportunity Artmuza opened its doors in 2014. It’s more than just a gallery. It’s a community.
Artmuza boasts ten galleries showcasing a monthly rotation of exhibitions. You can find everything from renowned artists like Roman Lyapin to emerging local talents. Lyapin’s stunning Petersburg landscapes capture the city’s soul. His unique perspective blends traditional views with modern additions like the TV tower.
