Cova de Llevant is nestled between Cala Xarraca and Es Canaret. It is a collection of hollows overlooking the sea. A central column stands guard inside. It is easy to reach but watch for mosquitoes. They love this spot too.
To get here, many start near Cala Xarraca. They follow signs toward Es Canaret beach. Then a right turn leads down to the sea. The path reveals old beehives at the start. These hives are a rare sight on Ibiza. Keep Portinatx in sight as you walk a field path to the cliffs.
Walk about 150 meters along the water’s edge to the left. A large hole in the rocky ground marks your destination. This is it. Carefully climb down the sharp rocks. Enter the cave. A breathtaking view of the sea awaits.

The hike continues up to Punta Xarraco. This vantage point offers stunning views. See Ibiza’s northern coastline spread before you. The trail then loops back offering a pretty view. The bay of Es Canaret comes into view and then the familiar beehives mark the final stretch back to the car.
