In 1999, a spark ignited in National City. This spark was the founding of Cornerstone Church of San Diego by Sergio and Georgina De La Mora. Cornerstone Church, now known as Heart Revolution Church, quickly grew into a beacon of faith. It attracted thousands of worshippers each week. By 2009, Outreach magazine recognized Cornerstone Church as the third fastest-growing church in America. This growth was a testament to the De La Moras’ leadership and the church’s vibrant, charismatic approach. Cornerstone Church wasn’t just a place of worship. It was a community hub. It was a place where lives were transformed and hearts were set ablaze with faith. The church hosted the annual “Heart Revolution Conference,” drawing renowned speakers like Hezekiah Walker, Tim Storey, Ed Young, Jr., and Steven Furtick. These conferences became powerful gatherings of faith and inspiration. In 2010, Cornerstone Church even hosted Ed Young, Jr.’s C3 West Coast Conference, further solidifying its role as a key player in the Christian community. The church’s 10 a.m. service was broadcast locally on KPRZ 1210 AM, extending its reach beyond the physical walls of the building. In 2020, Cornerstone Church of San Diego underwent a transformation, changing its name to Heart Revolution Church. This change reflected the church’s continued evolution and commitment to igniting hearts with a passion for God. With TJ and Carissa Anglin taking the reins as lead pastors in 2021, Heart Revolution Church continues to thrive, impacting lives and inspiring hearts in National City and beyond.
