Under Dr. J. H. Hardeman in the 1940s, the church evolved further. It officially became Greater Corinth Baptist Church. A significant debt was cleared. The Charlie Bellinger Estate was purchased. The old church building became the Good Samaritan Hospital. A new church site emerged. It included a parsonage, nursery school, and community center.

Greater Corinth experienced significant growth over the years. Dr. B. Tyree Alexander’s leadership saw a mortgage burning celebration in 1955. Improvements and additions marked his tenure. Over 1000 baptisms occurred.

The church continued to evolve. It embraced holistic ministry under Dr. D. J. Winters. Female deacons and trustees were appointed. The sanctuary underwent a major renovation.

Dr. Carl Johnson’s leadership in the 1990s brought renewed commitment. The church liquidated its mortgage early. New facilities were added.
