UPM ETSIST is located at the UPM Campur Sur. It is also called the South Campus. The academic strengths are strong. They include Communications, Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications Systems. Other strengths are Sound and Image Engineering, Telematics, Acoustical Engineering, Internet of Things and Cybersecurity. The university also focuses on Application and Service Development for Mobile Devices.
Student life at Conmutador ETSIST is vibrant. Many clubs play a major role at UPM. There are currently many clubs in operation. These include activities ranging from all kinds of cultural pursuits. Cinema, theatre, tunas which are traditional student musical groups and photography are popular. Professionally oriented clubs for exchange and research are also available. Senior students mentor new and visiting students. They provide guidance in academic and social integration. They also help with administrative procedures.
