Nestled in the heart of East Harlem, the Community Church of Christ stands as a testament to faith and community. The Community Church of Christ isn’t just a building. It’s a vibrant hub where lives intersect, stories intertwine, and hope takes root. Around the corner or around the block, you’ll find spiritual family here. At the Community Church of Christ, we’re building a Christ-centered community to reach out to our neighbors. We strive to be present for each other, developing mutual care, and growing a friendship with Jesus Christ that transforms us. What we’ve been freely given, we freely share, whether it’s around the block or around the world. Our core beliefs are simple yet profound. We believe in one eternally existing God who exists as three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God is perfect in every way: in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He is unchanging, the same yesterday, today, and forever. At the Community Church of Christ, we believe that every human, from the moment of life, is in the image of God, a person to be nurtured, protected, and developed. We believe that Jesus Christ is the bridge that reconciles us with God. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He offers the free gift of eternal life to all who follow Him. The Community Church of Christ is more than just a place of worship. It is a living embodiment of Christ’s love, a place where all are welcome to find solace, community, and a renewed purpose in life.
