Founded in 2000 the Comunidad Cristiana Internacional CCI New York stands as a testament to faith and community. Pastors Victor and Carolina Amador founded this vibrant church in Brooklyn. They arrived in the US as missionaries in 1990. Their mission was to plant churches spreading the word of God. Originally from Honduras Pastor Victor completed theological studies. He was ordained as an Evangelical minister at Christ For The Nation University in Dallas Texas. He later earned a master’s degree in theology. Pastora Carol Amador was ordained in Honduras under Bishop Rene Penalva. Bishop Penalva founded the global CCI network. The Amadors have planted churches across the US and internationally. They’ve also founded Amando La Vida. Amando La Vida is a non-profit organization. It helps vulnerable groups in many countries. CCI New York’s motto is “Growing together as a church to reach the nations”. The church is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. It’s affiliated with the CCI global network. They believe in a triune God Father Son and Holy Spirit. They celebrate baptism in water and the baptism and fullness of the Holy Spirit. They follow the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20.
