Perhaps you’ve noticed the serene beauty of Bayside Hills. Here, the Colonial Church of Bayside has stood as a beacon of faith since 1938. This church offers local residents fellowship and shares God’s love.
Colonial Church of Bayside welcomes all. It embraces individuals regardless of age, ethnicity, or social status. The church serves as a sanctuary. It offers spiritual healing and renewal to all who enter its doors.
The church’s mission is clear. It aims to grow mature disciples of Christ. It achieves this through worship, prayer, ministry, discipleship, mission, and fellowship.
Colonial Church of Bayside believes in Jesus. They believe he is the Son of God. He entered our broken world. Jesus lived a life that reveals God to us. It tells us who we are. We are beings created by God. We are made in God’s image. Yet we suffer in a broken world.
Jesus lived in perfect obedience to God. He suffered and died on a cross. He created a way for people to reconnect with God. God brought Jesus back to life. He defeated death. Jesus returned to his Father in heaven.
Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we can live in hope. We hope for a better life in this world. We also hope for eternity with God. To connect with this new life, we must recognize our issues. We must accept Christ’s claim. He is the Son of God. He is the way to new life. We must allow God to lead us into a new relationship with him.
