A beacon of unity. This is the Coexist Fountain. It gracefully stands as a symbol of harmony between religions. The Coexist Fountain was inaugurated in September 2007. Quite the ceremony it was, with notable figures like Cherie Blair, wife of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and even Bono from U2 in attendance. The Coexist Foundation’s president, James Kidner, was also present. The foundation champions interfaith relationships, symbolized by its logo. The logo beautifully intertwines the Muslim Crescent, the Jewish Star of David, and the Christian Cross. The Coexist Fountain serves as a tangible representation of their mission. A reminder that despite our different faiths, we can coexist peacefully. Right here in Cannes, at the Coexist Fountain, take a moment to reflect on the power of unity. It is a message as refreshing as the water flowing from the fountain itself. And if you’re lucky, you might even find parking nearby.
