The Coca-Cola Arena is the first fully air-conditioned, multipurpose indoor arena in the Middle East. It operates year-round. This arena stands as a premier venue. It hosts various events. These include concerts, sports, and family entertainment.
Opened on June 6, 2019, the Coca-Cola Arena has a capacity of 17000. Its adaptable design features a rolling modular stage. Automated drapes and a retractable seating system allow intimate or large-scale events.
ASM Global manages the Coca-Cola Arena. Their vision is to make it the region’s top entertainment and sports venue. The mission is to enhance lives and boost tourism.
The Coca-Cola Arena is unique because of its size, capacity, and accessibility. It is the only air-conditioned indoor arena of its kind between Istanbul and Singapore. This allows year-round events.
Located in City Walk, the Coca-Cola Arena is surrounded by hospitality, food, and shopping options. The arena’s roof can support 190 metric tonnes of equipment. There are almost 400 square meters of LED screens. Also, the Coca-Cola Arena includes 42 corporate suites.
Populous completed the concept design. ASGC Group and DAR Group handled design development and construction.
The Coca-Cola Arena can transform from a theater to a stadium. Its seating adjusts to the event size. There are 17 elevators and 26 escalators. It also has four sports changing rooms and eight artist dressing rooms. Over 35 food and beverage outlets are available. Furthermore, 28 wheelchair spaces are available.
The Coca-Cola Arena’s facade has 4600 LEDs. These lights illuminate the City Walk neighborhood.
Many famous artists have performed at the Coca-Cola Arena. These include Maroon 5 and Demi Lovato. The Coca-Cola Arena has also hosted comedians such as Kevin Hart and Trevor Noah.
In 2024, the arena hosted the Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament.
