Clear View Education Center isn’t your typical high school. It’s a place where students, sometimes facing seemingly insurmountable obstacles, can rewrite their academic narratives. Established in 1938, Clear View began as an alternative learning center within the Clear Creek Independent School District. It has evolved into a unique charter school, one of only two in the district. The other is Clear Horizons Early College High School. Clear View serves students across the district, from Kemah and Clear Lake Shores to parts of Houston and League City. The school’s colors, black and gold, represent resilience and triumph. Its mascot, the tiger, embodies strength and courage. Clear View offers a haven for students who may have struggled in traditional school settings. Small classes, capped at 12 students, ensure personalized attention from dedicated teachers. Innovative instruction, extra tutoring, and credit recovery options pave the way for academic success. The absence of homework allows students to focus on in-class learning and reduces outside pressures. Clear View goes beyond academics. It provides a robust support system, addressing issues that can often hinder a student’s educational journey. The center even offers programs leading to job certifications in healthcare and cosmetology, equipping students with practical skills for the future. Clear View Education Center is a place of transformation, where students can discover their potential and chart a new course toward a brighter future. The center has seen growth and change throughout the years. In 2013, it officially became Clear View High School, the sixth high school in Clear Creek ISD. More recently, in 2022, a new, state-of-the-art $45 million facility opened its doors, further solidifying Clear View’s commitment to providing a quality learning environment.
