What if I told you that legends are not just born but meticulously crafted? Here at Ciudad Real Madrid – Florentino Pérez, dreams take shape. It is a sprawling complex. It breathes ambition in every corner.

This is not just any training ground. This is the heart of Real Madrid’s future. Inaugurated in 2005, Ciudad Real Madrid replaced the old Ciudad Deportiva. It stands as a testament to Florentino Pérez’s vision. He is the Real Madrid president.

The sale of the old Ciudad Deportiva generated approximately 480 million euros. This money was essential. It helped fund this state-of-the-art facility. The complex quickly earned the nickname “Valdebebas.” This is what players, trainers, and staff call it affectionately. It references the district where it proudly resides.

Within these 1.2 million square meters lies a world dedicated to football excellence. Only a portion of the land is developed. Specifically, 270,000 square meters house cutting-edge resources.

Here, “La Fábrica” operates. It is the club’s famed youth academy. Young talents hone their skills. They also learn the values that define Real Madrid. Twelve and one-third fields cater to different levels of training. The youth teams benefit from three full-size synthetic turf fields and four natural grass fields. The first team has access to one-third full-size synthetic turf field and three full-size natural grass fields. These meticulously maintained surfaces witness countless hours of practice.

The Real Madrid first team residential building is impressive. It spans 8300 square meters. It features 57 rooms on two floors. Each room has its own lounge area and terrace. Players find relaxation and privacy here. The building includes a cinema, a dining room for 54 people, and a climate-controlled pool.

The youth team residence accommodates players whose families live outside Madrid. It offers 40 double rooms with balconies and private bathrooms. Common dining and rest areas foster camaraderie. Classrooms support their academic education. Players between 10 and 18 years old reside here.

In the middle of the 2015–16 season, the basketball division got its own facilities at Valdebebas. A new training pavilion has four tracks. One is for the first team. The others are for the field teams.

Beyond football pitches and residences, Ciudad Real Madrid boasts advanced medical facilities. Examination rooms, treatment rooms, and rehab equipment aid player recovery. A hydrotherapy center features hot and cool pools.

Moreover, the Estadio Alfredo Di Stéfano stands proudly within the complex. Real Madrid Castilla, the reserve team, plays its home matches here.

The members decided that Florentino Pérez name should be added to the name of the training ground as a sign of respect.

Ciudad Real Madrid – Florentino Pérez is more than just a training ground. It is a symbol of Real Madrid’s unwavering commitment to excellence. Every brick laid here echoes with the dreams of future champions. It is a place where potential becomes reality.
