“A cube is born” they proclaimed. That’s how the CityCube Berlin began its life. This isn’t just any building. It’s a massive structure. A modern marvel of event spaces.

The CityCube Berlin opened in May 2014. It replaced the International Congress Centrum ICC. This impressive hall needed to handle the growing demand for space. Think IFA Fruit Logistica InnoTrans ITB and Grüne Woche. These massive trade shows needed room to grow. The CityCube was the answer.

Construction began in July 2012. The project cost approximately 83 million euros. This hefty price tag included demolishing the Deutschlandhalle. It’s a significant investment reflecting the CityCube’s importance to Berlin.

The CityCube boasts two levels each spanning 6015 square meters. The upper level is a pillar-free hall. This amazing space can accommodate up to 5000 people. Imagine concerts exhibitions or even lavish catering events here. The lower level is equally impressive. Flexible walls create up to eight conference rooms. These rooms can hold between 400 and 3000 people each. There are also eight additional smaller conference rooms. They each have flexible walls accommodating 50 to 300 people. Then there are 47 even smaller rooms. The CityCube is connected to exhibition halls 2 4 and 7. This ensures easy access and efficient flow for attendees.

Getting to the CityCube is easy. The Messe Sud S-Bahn station offers direct access to Berlin’s S-Bahn network. The BVG bus line 349 also stops nearby.

The CityCube Berlin isn’t just a building. It’s a testament to Berlin’s ambition. It’s a vital hub for trade culture and business. It’s a place where ideas take shape. It’s a modern masterpiece in the heart of Berlin.
