The temple’s journey is marked by significant renovations. The first major renovation happened in 1970 led by Trân Văn Thoại. Years later, under the guidance of Hòa Thượng Thích Minh Hiện, the humble structure was transformed into one of the most respected temples in District 3. His vision guided Chùa Phật Đà for 38 years. In 2019, Hòa Thượng Thích Minh Hiện passed the responsibility to Thượng tọa Thích Thiện Chân. Today, Chùa Phật Đà stands as a testament to their dedication and the enduring spirit of Buddhism.
