Ready to explore a spiritual home that spans continents? The story of Christ Embassy Church begins far from Berlin. It started in Nigeria in 1987.

Christ Embassy was founded by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. He is a preacher and faith healer. Believers LoveWorld Incorporated is the official name of the organization. From its start in Nigeria, it grew to many African countries. It also established a presence in German-speaking areas.

“Pastor Chris” often appeared with his wife “Pastor Anita” in publications. She often remained in the background. In 2002, Chris faced accusations from Nigerian Pentecostal leaders. They claimed he collaborated with T. B. Joshua. Joshua was accused of occult practices and exploiting Christians for money.

In 2003, “Pastor Chris” launched Africa’s first 24-hour Christian TV network. This global network included LoveWorld TV for the UK. It also featured LoveWorld SAT for South Africa and LoveWorld PLUS for Nigeria. Oyakhilome’s healing services are known as “Atmosphere for Miracles.”

In 2012, a dispute arose with Pastor Paul in Canada. He had built Christ Embassy congregations in Calgary and Edmonton. The conflict with senior pastors involved his unpaid salary.

Christ Embassy’s theology aligns with the African Pentecostal tradition. The church’s website highlights stories of miraculous healings. Some individuals claim the Holy Spirit cured them of AIDS. In Biel, Switzerland, Charles Ndifon promised healing through faith. This was directed to those with cancer and those in wheelchairs. After these events, offerings were collected.

Today Christ Embassy is active in major German cities. These include Cologne, Berlin, Hanover, Frankfurt, Dortmund, and Bremen. It particularly appeals to people of African origin. However, in Munich, the Christ Embassy partners with the local Evangelical Alliance.

Christ Embassy Germany has a clear mission. It aims to help people fulfill God’s plans for them. They hope to create a happier world with love. Christ Embassy extends an invitation. They welcome everyone to visit and worship with them.

Christ Embassy’s vision is bold. It seeks to spread God’s presence to all nations. It also aims to demonstrate the character of the Spirit.

The church believes in the inspired Word of God. They believe in one God existing as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. They also believe in Jesus Christ’s deity. This includes his virgin birth, sinless life, and miracles. It extends to his death, resurrection and ascension. The church believes in the rapture and Christ’s second coming.

Salvation is achieved through repentance and faith in Jesus’ blood. Regeneration through the Holy Spirit is essential. Christ’s work on the cross provides healing. It also brings salvation to believers. The Holy Ghost empowers Christians. This helps them to serve and witness. The church believes in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The saved will have eternal life. The lost will face eternal judgment.

Christ Embassy Church is more than just a building. It is a global movement. It touches lives across continents. It offers faith, healing, and a sense of belonging.
