Is this the house of God? Here we are at the Christ Apostolic Church. The Christ Apostolic Church in North America has humble beginnings. It all began in 1976 as a small house fellowship in Brooklyn, New York. The late Rev. Goke Oyedeji, PhD, started this fellowship. It quickly blossomed into a thriving religious community. Today, the church we stand before serves as the headquarters for the First in the Americas (FITA) DCC. Did you know that FITA is a division within the broader Christ Apostolic Church North America? The Christ Apostolic Church is organized in a hierarchical structure. It has five levels of authority. The highest level is the Trustees. The lowest level is the assembly Pastors. The church has expanded significantly since its humble beginnings. There are currently 14 DCCs/Zones across North America. These zones are led by 14 Superintendents and encompass congregations in numerous cities and states across the United States and Canada. All of these churches fall under the umbrella of CAC North America.
