It serves as a premier Regional Cancer Centre for Eastern India. The institute’s mission is clear: to provide quality cancer care to everyone. In 2022, a new chapter began with the inauguration of a second campus in Newtown, a state-of-the-art facility with 460 beds. In 2023, doctors performed a groundbreaking stereotactic radiosurgery, a first for a government hospital in West Bengal.
