Their goal is to build a network across all fifty states. They plan to link with local churches and organizations. This ambition stems from the profound impact of their Marriage Enrichment Retreats. The Chinese Family for Christ Church hosts over 100 of these retreats annually, worldwide. These retreats offer a vital space for Chinese couples. They navigate the complexities of marriage. They reconcile traditional values with modern societal ethics. The church recognizes the challenges faced by Chinese families in expressing love openly, often due to cultural inhibitions. These retreats, often incorporating insights from psychologists, aim to strengthen marriages. They emphasize the sanctity of a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. In 2024, over 150 retreats were held. These spanned from the United States to Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China. Over 1,500 couples participated. Within the United States, their reach extends to cities like Seattle, Boston, Chicago, Iowa, Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and, of course, right here in San Diego.
