The Chinese Community Church moved to its current location on October 15, 2006. The new campus boasts a beautiful 7,000 square foot sanctuary. It can seat 325 people. There’s also a spacious 18,000 square foot Fellowship Hall. From this hall, you can enjoy a grand view of the canyon. It can accommodate 350 people. The church has served the Chinese community for over 135 years. It continues to offer a place of worship and fellowship in San Diego. Today, the congregation is diverse. Services are conducted in English. The Chinese Community Church’s mission is simple. It’s to advance the gospel. This means fulfilling the Great Commission. They strive to be disciples of Jesus Christ. They also aim to make disciples of others, from children to adults. Their reach extends to their local community and the world. The church aims to be a worshipping and praying congregation. They encourage peacemaking and reconciliation. They focus on discipling and equipping future leaders. They also dedicate themselves to spreading the gospel. The Chinese Community Church wants to be a place of rest for the weary. They want to provide nourishment for the hungry. They seek to offer healing for the broken. They strive to give purpose and meaning to the aimless. They believe in the Holy Scriptures as their ultimate authority. They believe in one God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They believe Jesus Christ died for our sins and was resurrected.
