Ever imagine riding a roller coaster with ten inversions? At Chimelong Paradise, that dream becomes a reality. This isn’t just any amusement park. Chimelong Paradise is the largest amusement park in China. It opened its gates on April 12, 2006. The park is a sprawling wonderland of over 60 hectares, boasting more than 60 attractions. Chimelong Paradise can accommodate up to 50,000 thrill-seekers daily. The park is renowned for its record-breaking 10 Inversion Roller Coaster. Before the Smiler at Alton Towers and Colossus at Thorpe Park, this coaster held the record for the most inversions. But Chimelong Paradise isn’t just about inversions. In 2008, a new roller coaster joined the lineup. This towering giant stands nearly 61 meters tall and rockets to a speed of 105 kilometers per hour. The park is divided into seven themed zones. Whirlwind Island offers spinning rides like the Half Pipe and Rotating Cup. Screaming Zone lives up to its name with the 10 Inversion Roller Coaster and the Motorbike Coaster. Happy Kingdom is a world of whimsical rides for all ages. Kids’ Land is a dedicated area for younger adventurers. Rainbow Bay houses the Dive Coaster and Giant Frisbee. Water World invites guests to cool off with splash battles and pirate rafts. Finally, Phantom Zone offers immersive experiences like the 4D movie Rio and the Forest Temple. Chimelong Paradise is conveniently located near Hanxi Changlong Station on Guangzhou Metro lines 3 and 7. A footbridge or free shuttle bus connects the station directly to the park. And for an added bonus, some tickets even grant access to the neighboring Chimelong Water Park, accessible by a bridge. So, prepare for a day of thrills, laughter, and unforgettable memories at Chimelong Paradise.
