This incredible Children Observatory is part of a much larger park. Seoul Children’s Grand Park opened on May 5 1973. It was Children’s Day. The park is a wonderful place for families. It has animals rides and plants. The park even offers special programs for kids.

Did you know the park was originally a royal tomb? Empress Sunmyeonghyo was buried there. Her tomb was moved in 1926. President Park Chung Hee ordered the park’s construction. It opened a year later.

The Children Observatory provides a fantastic perspective on the park. You can see the animals in their enclosures. You might even spot the zookeepers. The views from here are amazing.

There have been some exciting events in the park’s history. In 2005 six elephants escaped. They caused a lot of commotion. The incident was even featured on the Discovery Channel. Another exciting day was March 23 2023. A zebra named Sero escaped. He went on a three-hour adventure through the city.

The Children Observatory is a great place to learn. It’s a memorable experience for kids of all ages. Enjoy the incredible view. Remember the history of Seoul Children’s Grand Park. Remember the animals and their stories. Most importantly remember your adventure at the Children Observatory.
