“What if I told you that this church was born from the ashes of another?” That’s right. We are standing in front of the Chiesa di Santa Rita. It’s a Catholic church located in Piazza Gabriele Rosa in Milan.

Inside the Chiesa di Santa Rita you can find a precious treasure. It is a fresco of the Madonna della Rosa. The fresco dates back to the 15th century. In the apse of the Chiesa di Santa Rita is a pipe organ. The Costamagna firm built it in 1962. It features electric transmission. There are two organ bodies in the niches. They are located at the base of the cupola. Another one sits on the floor behind the tabernacle. The console has three keyboards with 61 notes each. It also has a concave-radial pedal board with 32 notes.
The Chiesa di Santa Rita is part of the Vigentino Deanery. This is within the Archdiocese of Milan. It continues to be an active parish. The church offers regular services.
