Chan Sui Ki Perpetual Help College stands as a beacon of education. It is located in Macau. The college has a rich history. It has evolved since its founding in 1955. Two Spanish Redemptorist Fathers Juan Campos Rodrìguez and Eusebio Arnàiz Álvarez founded the Perpetual Help Anglo Chinese School. It started with just a few pupils in the Kindergarten and Primary School.
Registrations grew quickly. Six more classes were added by 1962. Another building was constructed in 1964. Cardinal Don Jose da Costa Nunes blessed it.
In September 1964, the Secondary School opened to boys. Girls were admitted the following year. The Redemptorist Fathers left Macau in 1967. The Society of Divine Love then took over. The school became Perpetual Help College.
In 1976, the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians became the owner. It was then named Daughters of Mary Help of Christians Perpetual Help College. Mr. Chan King Luen donated funds in 1986. This was to honor his father Chan Sui Ki. The school was renamed Chan Sui Ki Perpetual Help College.
The campus is divided into two main sections. The main campus is in São Lázaro. A branch campus exists in Santo António. The main campus covers 5350 square meters. It consists of three main buildings: A, B, and C. There are thirty classrooms. Also, there are three laboratories. You will find an audio-visual room here. A creative design room is also available. The college offers three music rooms. A chapel enhances the spiritual environment. Students enjoy the art room and library. Two computer rooms support digital learning. An indoor sports room promotes physical activity.
Chan Sui Ki Perpetual Help College is more than just buildings. It is a place of academic excellence. The school is registered as an Edexcel school. It offers GCE A Level and International Advanced Level courses. Graduates gain admission to top universities worldwide. These include Cambridge and UC Berkeley.
